Just a little about me.....

I am the mother of two grown children and a "Nana" to three precious granddaughters and two "granddogs."  In 2006, I retired from a fortune 500 company after 36 years in community relations and administration.  My husband, Freddie, and I live in a small town in the piedmont area of North Carolina.  I began writing and filing the stories away while raising our children.  I promised myself and others to publish and share them when I retired.  That day has come and I have published my first two children's books.  My first book, Carnella Caterpillar: Jeepers Creepers was published in February 2008 and my second book, Ladybug Grace, Have No Fear, was published  and released in September of 2009. I plan to write a series of five books in the Carnella series.

In addition to writing, I am active in my church and enjoy volunteering in my community,  coordinating weddings, camping, biking, gardening, reading and cooking. But above all, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren.....and the best is yet to come....
