WHY I WRITE....

Children are our future and they are being prepared for the future by parents, caregivers, family members and their schools. Reading unlocks the doors to our future. Before children can read, they depend on those of us who can read to open the doors of wonder and imagination for them.  When you read to a child, be it your own, your grandchild, or a group of children, do you realize the gift that you are giving them? You can see the ligt of learning in their eyes.  Give that gift as often as you can...it will be an investment in your future as well as the future of the child.
